Pardon me, this time I use English in my blog. Saturday is English day for me. I take a
conversation course in LBPP LIA. This is my first time attending the class. I
am in level three.
Today, I went to course place at 7.45 and arrived there in 8.00 exactly.
I went up the stair and entered the room 203 like I’ve read in my registration
form. My teacher’s name is Niken. Then we started our first lesson, introducing
our self. There are 19 students.
Mrs. Niken gave all of the students a piece of paper and asked us to
write our nick name. Then we put it on our shirt so the other could read our
name. She asked us to introduce our name, hobby, address, and occupation. I
introduced myself in one student and then to the others until I almost knew
names of all.
The time of introduce was up. Mrs. Niken asked all of us to write our
nick name in the piece of paper again for the game. Then she collected it. We
put a piece of paper and make sure it wasn’t our own name. Then we introduced
our self again like before with the name that we put. So, even I am Habibi, but
I put the ‘Rindy’ name in paper. So I should introduce myself with the
information I gathered before. At the end of the game Mrs. Niken wanted to
cross check all of information from the introducing our self to me. I get the ‘Wildan’
name in my hand. So I must describe about him.
I said “I’m Wildan. Actually, this name is same with my full name. I'm
from Industrial Engineering department ITS. I live in Keputih. My hobbies are
playing tennis at campus and playing dota”. I made a false about where
was he lived. The bell was ringing and everyone take a break then.
Second lesson was interesting too. Mrs. Niken taught us to have a short conversation.
It’s good for melting the freeze when we met someone at the first time. I learned
to talking a short conversation depend on the topic and situation that my teacher
made of us. I picked ‘The Weather’ topic with the location of the conversation
is in the hotel. I practiced my speaking skill with Pipit, one of the students
there.
That’s all about my first class. It’s a lot of fun. I really enjoy it.
